Going rate for hauling tire chips

    Tire chips are very light and can only haul 15-18 tons per load. How much would it be reasonable to charge to haul 40 miles to one place and 220 miles to another? Any thoughts or formula i can use .

    Calculate out how much revenue you need daily to the truck. If it's $1000, for instance, then calculate how many loads for the 40 mile trip and how many for the 220 mi trip including time etc.

    How many loads a day? How long to load. Bagged? Bulk? Dump trailer? Traffic. Going through downtown DLS? Just figure out what it 's going to cost and how much you are worth. And then hope the illegals don't undercut you like they have on so many other things around here.
