Con-Way Truckload invite!

So, looks like CWTL is gonna happen. Talked with them Friday, got my invite for the 16th, told her I'd call back Monday. Got jumpy and called back that evening, but she had left for the day...UGH!!!
So, pacing around waiting for Monday now, feels like ###### Christmas!!

At first I was half worried about that, but, she was wicked understanding about the fact that I had to go over some of the finer details with my wife, and it was her idea to call back, just do it early in the week. I had called a friend from school and told him to call them too, and he called me afterward and said that she had made mention of calling me on Monday.
So, yeh, a little worry about not just jumpin straight on, but, not a whole lot.

 

Not so much the rate, just the honesty about it.
Having checked with all the locals (haulin gravel etc.) and gettin the '2 years...' line, and gettin 90% of the way with some other biggies just to get the "nah, nevermind...", I'm just glad (and happy!) that someone is saying "Yes, come on down".
We all know that starting out in this is no bed of roses, but considering the thorns and #### I've crawled through in my life to get to the place I am now, I don't mind a couple more yards.
And, compared to my current income, this is like Bill Gates rich!
