My trainer and I were stuck in Seattle, over night because the trailer breaks wouldn't release. Morning came, as did a mechanic who says straight faced to my trainer with 15 years experience, "You crossed the air lines, dude." I could see him turn red. When the guy returned with the bill, he made an attempt to salvage what dignity he had remaining by saying, "I was just telling my trainee how this could happen to him someday." I didn't say anything, being not long out of school at the time, I thought it better to let him have it.

    OUCH.

Way back in the day when I was working at a chicken house equipment service business in VA we had service calls for a ventilation fan that didn't work. On a very rare occasion we would flip the breaker or change a fuse, hit the farmer for a service call and roll on to the next job. :D :D :D
