I drove for Dynamic for 14 months. Only left to pursue a dedicated opportunity but I will say that hometime for otr was excellent. I usually left stl light, hit the west coast or the northwest, reloaded heavy then it was cincinnati or louisville then straight back home in 8-9 days and i took 2-3 off. Did this three times a month and had no problem knocking down 12-13k miles every month. There is usually no screwing around built into their freight. 2 out of the 3 guys that plan the freight have been sitting at the same desk for many years and you can take that how you want. If you can run 70mph for 11 straight hours every day until you burn your clock out, they can make sure you do just that. It does take a driver with a brain between his ears to look a day or two ahead and communicate clearly his availability and expected arrival times. These guys do not look over your shoulder and spoon feed you. Man up and drive like you got nothing better to do. You will sit in california occasionally, it comes with the territory. Do not whine. If you need someone to talk to at night, the shop manager is there. Dispatchers may take a call at the house if you are smart about when you call. Get your maintenance and fixes done on hometime. It helps to live close to the yard with this company. Payroll never screwed me. Safety guys know whats up out there and can be very helpful, and they know the past is haunting them a bit. Keep your coloring book in order and do your pre-trip and the back of the scale house isn't very scary... but in all fairness nebraska and colorado do like to target these guys. Overall if I were looking to be otr again I would definitely give them a call. It's different than most companies these days, but a good place for drivers who don't need a nanny. Equipment is set up very well for the operation, albeit the 2011 pete I had was equipped with a passenger side def tank which became obsolete the minute it rolled off the line.
Dynamic transit a good company?

Do they have any dedicated ?
-
When I worked for them they did have dedicated. At least that's how it was then. I chose the run I wanted and that's what I got. I ran from Boeing in St. Louis to Indian Island...a huge Army base off the coast of Seattle. Then, I'd pick up a load of lumber....drop and hook in L.A. and take off for Louisville, KY. Then they'd either have something there for me to take to the yard or I'd bounce on in. It was one of my favorite jobs. -
A friend of mine started with them a couple of months ago, he is doing good, no complaints.
