Do a search on Copper electronics and you will find they are not someone you want to do business with.

I've dealt with G.I. Joes once. They sold me the radio. I didn't have them peak and tune it because 1. it doesn't really need it and 2. not may out there that won't #### up your radio trying to peak and tune it. So I'll go out on a limb and say they're ok.

I've also dealt with Sparkys before Dave left. I always had good luck, but after Dave left some say their QC went down, but it's coming back around.

Last I heard the copper mods weren't too good. Find a trucker who is broke and buy a used one cheap. Then have a good tech go through it and you probably will have less than $150 in it. I've got $100 in my Connex 3300HP ($50 for the radio, $50 to the tech) have had it for about 8 years now.
