Albuquerque the past 24 hours. I'm due in Phoenix Tuesday morning for a 10 AM appointment. Just turned down a load that would've have made me late to Phoenix. Now I lost my layover pay.

I need to add I put in home time to begin tomorrow Monday 01/09 10 days ago. Made the appointment a day later so I wouldn't miss it. Person I'm meeting with doesn't want to use his influence to get me there on time. I wonder if he's testing the weekend planners.

Still in Rapid City, SD. Had a feeling that this would happen when there was a mt trk at the trk stop last night waiting, and only saw about 4 trucks heading East yesterday on I-90. Can not believe the weather. A high of 59 here today. Received the nice computer generated msg not to long ago, according to your Mac 10, you do not have enough hours to run a load. I still had 6 left on my 14. Changed mny PTA until 0130 in the morning, which moves me to the end of the list. this is one thing that I think needs to change.

    Romeoville, IL.

Delivered a load this morning in the area, then got a load out of Gary terminal to Chicago.
    A whole 29 miles.

The back to the terminal to pick up another t-called load to Juliet - a whole 40 miles.

Then was sent a plan picking up in Romeoville tomorrow morning at 0600 - a high val load going around 130 miles by 1000 tomorrow. (Live load and unload)

I guess it is better than sitting and waiting.

Both t-called deliveries were a live unload. :biggrin_25510:

Then they send me a pplan for after the high val load, picking up 60 miles away between 01/10 0800 and 1200 (and I have a live unload at 1000?!!!), delivering (the first stop) in Denver - ~1100 miles away - by 01/12 0700, with the final being 2200 that night. :biggrin_25511:

No way could I make Denver by that time. It would be at least 1400, by my reckoning.
And my 14 would expire well before the 2200 final delivery, so I could not deliver the final until the following morning.
No time windows in any of this, and I checked with my DM to make sure.
Turned that one down, but it sure would have been nice to get some real miles.

If I could have picked it up at 0800 with a fresh 11/14, sure. But after 2/3 of my day is used up? And I'm pretty sure they knew this when they sent it to me.

    Oh ya...
Last night (this morning? I get so confused...) I get a QC message (just about when my alarm went off) at around 0300:
What is your ETA for delivery?
    I wrote back:
Well, it is scheduled for 0700, so my ETA is 0700.

    DUH!!!

What?! Are they worried I won't get there on time?
Even though I have zero service failures?

Sometimes I think the planners need to be drug tested more often, because it seems like they are high on something besides Life.

Whelp its nice to get internet/cell service again, sheesh what a past few days. Kingsford was a complete nightmare, as I had to run that @ night coming in off the 81 to the 33.. never again.
took that load to martinsburge terminal for a tcall, sat there for a 34, then got a load taking a kingsford load up into middletown,pa. Why tcall my load, when yer sending me there taking another drivers tcall.? Get there, swift driver next to me has my tcall, oi vey.. swift

Lucky for me I got a load in York, pa to memphis, tn. Slept in today, real foggy out, doubt its gonna clear out soon, still dark out n 25*.

Ohh, just an fyi.. anyone that decides to snag that kingsford load, you can park for your 10 there in the back. Also run it durring daylight hours, unless yer some Xmen w/ super vision and can predict turns, deer, snow, ice, police, etc...
