Please do not knock the company or me. Just updating ... I will be attending orientation with Carroll Fulmer next week. Of course everything sounds kosher over the phone but I am ready to give them a shot. Didn't have a whole lot of options. I was being continuously shot down by various carriers so I jumped on the first wagon I could get. I will make it work. Thanks for all your help!

For future references, pay. Lawyer to take care of the ticket. It isn't like a 4 wheeler ticket. No driving school. The lawyer will just keep appealing the ticket till the municipal pleas it down to fines, a fee, and no tickets for 3 months, and it won't ever go on your record. ( that stop sign right in from of cargill is a joke.. There is trains rolling through there a lot so I always stopped b4 the tracks also.. That cop was a d bag..

    Update. Change of plans.

I was planning on attending orientation and getting started with Carroll Fulmer, Monday the 23rd. However, I was contacted by Averitt. Between the two, I believe Averitt to be a better choice for me, so I decided to go that route instead. I had an interview today. I will be on my way to TN Sunday to attend 4 day Orientation. With a little luck, I will be on the road by the end of January with Averitt out of Dothan,AL.

Does anybody happen to know if Averitt is hiring out of Texas?

call super service. They might require you to drive around with a trainer for a while. the pay is nothing to write home about but, it'll get you back in the game. I am NOT endorsing S.Service! They have their own issues.. what they ARE good at is getting people behind the wheel.
