So what's the Memphis terminal like? They at least have laundry available?

 

Yes. Laundry room has five or six washers and dryers. Last time I was there, wash was 50cents, dry was ....a dollar?

 

Sweet.. hope im close enough after my delivery in memphis tomorrow, hmm guess I could look it up, lol.. nothing exciting going on here..

Edit: terminal is on the west side of the airport, im delivering on the east side.. niice.
AND ill get rid of this POS trailer, man life is good.. sending dm msg's to get me pp asap..

 

There's a shortcut so you don't have to go all the way back to 240. Take Winchester from Lamar and it will take you through the airport, almost to the front door (well, back door for trucks) of the yard. There is a Mrs. Winner's chicken and a Burger King within walking distance, plus a few places that deliver. The Chinese delivery is pretty good.

Map your route before you try fooling around with Memphis surface streets.

Truck wash at the Memphis terminal. It does a decent job for an auto wash. Just watch your mirrors in it. It's a bit tight.

 

In Phoenix tonight and heading to Chino, CA in the morning. Had a good day today, showered, washed clothes, washed truck, hair cut, talked to leasing agents, made sure permits were all up to date and had a good dinner. I didn't see any thing that exited me in the overage and damaged goods store.

 

Rock Springs, WY. Got one pplan this morning, dh 300 miles to pu a 44K sugar load and take it 399 miles to SLC for morning. Nope, and then 10 mins later, dh 300 miles to pu a 7K load, 1100 miles ldd. Yes, I jumped on that one. Was a rte that have never been before, and not looking forward to taking again. Worland, Wy down here to Rock Springs. Yes, I got have gotten it on this pay week, but could not justify the miles, and what my MPG would have been, so now instead, Commerce, CA for Thursday a.m.

 

crown and cork,been there many times,those are good loads and i always unload in commerce in the middle of the night,then go sleep somewhere............

 

Yates center kansas,hwy 75 and 54,not really a truckstop,only open 6am to 6pm,but it is a lot and next door is a dollar general,so i loaded up on munchies............
