I was gonna stay at the TA but decided this was easier. I got an easy out parking spot and I will not hesitate to bang on the door of somebody blocking me in. It OS only a 3hr drive to RI in the morning and I figure I should be able to get around beantown that early. As for the route I'm taking 95 to 295 then to us6 into downtown and have to get off at exit 18.
Joseph1135, I'm not new to driving and not new to the easy coast, and as far as traffic i am from Chicago so thats not going to be an issue. I've just never really realized that there are a lack of places to park overnight out here. I used to just park at whatever chemical plant I was going to, but now I am doing flatbed and it's not that easy now lol....

I used to just park at whatever chemical plant I was going to...... so you left us for a N.E. skateboard job? I have an extra respirator you can use so next time you open the dome you don't go crazy n go flatbeddin bud.....
-
Good luck buddy and glad you made the switch to skateboarding. The only way to go!!!!
-
There's tons of parking up here. You just got to know where to look. And no I'm not saying where they are at on a message board. If I do I won't be able to get in them anymore.
dirtyjerz Thanks this. -
I run skateboard all over the northeast...maine will get you for your logs too. I've been to the kennenunk rest area a bunch of times. Careful around boston if you get hung up and are there during rush hour.....they can run the shoulder out there and they are maniacs! I'm in indiana now and can't believe all the truckstops out here.
-
I can't tell you how many times, in Maine, an officer has stepped out in front of me while going through a toll and pulled me off to the side for inspection. They love camping out on the other side of the tolls.
Yea during certain hours around Boston, the shoulder turns into another lane. So if you're in the "right" lane trying to exit, beware because it's legal for cars to be running on the shoulder during rush hours, lol.
Was in the Midwest one time......truck drivers are more like chauffeurs out there. -
If running ct to mass just take 295 around the bridge in rh.. Its not that many more miles. Also i dont know how you ran the midwest all the time- yawn. I mean less traffic and more truck stops but #### it is so #### boring.
i got run it at night so i dont see what i wouldnt miss anyways. I miss the jeresey turnpike on the daily.

I have never found tons of parking, just have to start looking early, stay at the shippers but have ended up at rest areas more times than anything.
-
Like I said you just gotta know where to look. -
I drive I-95 (where you were) 5 nights a week. Wanna tell me where all these "up and down hills" are located at?
Also, at exit 3B in NH, (Rte 33 west), there is a T/A, and always has parking.
I don't know what you are thinking, but I can go by ANY rest area in ME, and NH (along I-95) and CAN FIND lots of parking. But my run takes me home daily as well. But for fueling? There are QUITE a few places.
