I am considering going to work for either KLLM, Crete , Gemini Traffic Sales or Nancy Baer Trucking. Just want to make the most money I can make and have reasonable hometime. I have been approved for all but can't seem to figure which would be the best long term. I have seen and heard both good and bad about all of them. I just can't afford to be wrong. Any ideas would be appreciated.:biggrin_25519:

Not all the trainers run that way. Some trainers are quite happy to brag about how many miles they get because they are trainers, and how much money they are making while they are sleeping. Some trainers aren't happy at all if they get under 6000 miles a week, heaven forbid you might need some practice on something or need to learn some paperwork.

Ledbetter when you left KLLM did you receive your last full paycheck? Did KLLM return your $350 truck deposit?

Well folks I just finished four weeks of training and my trainer wanted to take a couple days off.I am due to upgrade on Nov.5.And yes there is a truck deposit of 350.00 that KLLM takes out 25.00 a week for the purpose of retyrieving your truck should you abandon it.All this according to Ed in safety in Atl.But also per Ed you get it all back on your one year anniversery. There is also a lock kit that is 175.00 also deducted aty 25.00 per week.See ya"ll on the road.

That is weird, my boyfriend paid no truck deposit. Yes, the security kit is deducted at $10 a week, but no truck deposit.

I keep trying to figure out why people keep saying this. I have never had a problem with the Atlanta yard (other than they never have any empties and I have to go hunt one down from a customer). My truck gets fixed faster in their shop and I have never had a problem getting a load out of there.
Before you ask....no, it is not my home terminal. Dallas is...rather was...now it's a drop yard.
