Ah Brooks, how I've missed thee. Back to get the work done that didn't happen on my home time. Hopefully I can get it done early in the day and be out of here before the temps dip in the hills.

OK, along with others, been sitting here waiting for a load since last Saturday (today is Wednesday). And this after sitting most of last week in WA. So, rather than complain about it, here's a boost for a little levity. Feel free to submit your contribution.
How slow is it?
It's so slow Payroll came by the drivers lounge handing out IRS change of address forms, Brooks as being the new residence
It's so slow I've notified the post office of a change of address
It's so slow I've had to do my laundry 2 x's since getting here (true)
- It's so slow I've seen guys returning that I'd seen leaving with loads a few days ago (true)
It's so slow I've sublet my truck out to (insert company name here) .......
It is what it is, the ebb and flow of freight that is, IMHO it'll only make it worse to complain, so why not try and laugh...however, these attempts at humor are weak, so submit your own. Here's to hoping all those playing the waiting game get loads asap....just not before me ######. Cheers, GD -
It is absolutely ridiculous that you have had to wait 5 DAYS for a load out of the HOME terminal. Freight is slow in January, true, but 5 DAYS slow?
-Frieght is so slow, I would of used their free internet to find a new job. -
I have been here 9 days now. Of course the first day was the body shop putting my fridge in my new truck. The second and third days were at Freightliner. Then fourth and fifth days were waiting on a load. Sixth day was waiting to go back to Freightliner. Seventh day was at freightliner. Days eight an nine waiting on a load. I pick up tomorrow morning and get the heck out of here.

Dozzer6, are you one of the Sith Lords in the drivers lounge engaged in the online sci-fi warfare? There's been some serious gaming going on in there the last few days.

Congrats on the new truck. I too have a load out of here tomorrow. PU at noon, and head 280 miles back into WA. Yeah!! Oh wait, that's where I sat last week. Crap. Oh well, we'll see what happens this time, I'll be moving, which is better than nothing...sometimes that is. Cheers, GD -
Are you serious? Wowsers, man. That doesn't sound like the "normal" slowdown this industry experiences.
