I run a50/50 mix of 2 cycle and Powerserv, Gray in the summer, white in the winter. Notice a little bit of milage increase, not sure exactly how much.

I wish I could find the study that compared 2 fuel additives and 2 cycle oil on a 5.9 Cummins, of the 3 tested, the 2 cycle oil was the best of the three.

A man with a fleet of trucks in Oregon stumbled upon amsoil 2 stroke (blue in color) JUST like I did. It works great in older trucks that were not designed for this new fuel. IT burns CLEAN , you can feel a power boost, and mpg increase! ... all other brands leave deposits, U dont need that. my engine oil at 6K is still CLEAN (golden ) on dip stick. Its mobil delvac, regular filters , 500K on motor, and that is the proof!! in my book!
Think about it....its made to burn and lube , or else them High Compression racing bikes would weld the piston ,rings and cylinder together!

I'm going to start using lucas, 2 cycle oil, trans fluid, used motor oil, gasoline, wd-40, powerservice, and howes. I'll fill one tank with all this crap and the other with diesel. From my calculations I should gain about 500 horsepower and get about 23 miles to the gallon. Lol

I think that one tank will coast more than 4-5 tanks of the ulsd crap.

I apologize that I didnt get back to this thread earlier. Here is why I swear by lucas. I used to have a cat c12 in a 99 freightshaker that I pulled super B doubles
with and doing 105,500 lbs of sheetrock on a nice dedicated run. I was getting 4.7 mpg and was trying different tricks to increase fuel mileage because at the time we were paying 5 bucks a gal for the crappy ulsd. I started using lucas fuel treat as I knew someone else on the run whom had MPG's increase just by using it and his engine smoothed out and seemed to run better. He had a detroit 60 series that increased by 3/10 mpg. He didnt use it every fillup but did every other fillup. My first time using seemed to smooth out the engine and I wasnt sure of an mpg increase. After using a few more times and keeping good track of my mpg's on paper I noticed a 2/10 to 3/10 mpg difference. I did the math on the purchase of a bottle of lucas vs the fuel savings and at 5 bucks a gal the bottle of lucas paid for itself and then some. I recently used it on a 2007 freightshaker with a mercedes and it did make it run better. This is my personal experience with the product along with another persons that got me sold on the product. We also did try the oil additive but my opinion after using it was that I didnt see a difference and think that a properly maintained truck with just plain oil is good enough without the oil additive.

You're wet behind your ears, why should your fuel tank be any different?

How does what you add to fuel, have an affect on your oil looking like new at 6,000 miles?
