Roehl Driver Check In

Well this hasn't been a good start for my first day back out. I couldn't get the stuff I needed for the truck because my garage door didn't want to open this morning. So I am out here with nothing to really assist me. My FM called me and thought my truck was stuck in there but once I told her the situation she told me to just roll out which was fine with me. In Findlay, OH now getting loaded and heading to Russellville, AR.

 

been getting long runs the last couple weeks...all above 1k each....now I am running from Franklin OH to Pompano Beach FL....it may have something to do with they don't have me for too long this week cause I have to be home in 5 days

 

OUCH! That is gonna be a llloooonnngggg wait.

Sitting at the Flying J (Who knew?) in Mississoga, ON Ya, I can't spell it, but it's CANADA and that is all that matters.

 

I am in Gary tonight. Sat at my Consignee today for over 5 hours waiting to get a load. After 5 plus hrs I asked to head to a truckstop and before I got there I get a msg saying to deadhead 245 miles to Gary. I knew they were going to send me there in the first place. What a waste of a day!!! Oh well, got a shower and ordered PizzaMix! Netflix and food time!

At the Iowa 80 in Walcott for the night. Got a haircut here which is kinda funny since my last one was at the Iowa 80 in Joplin, MO about a month ago.

Anyway, dropped a relay at Gary and then picked up in Elwood, IL. Now I'm headed to Casper, WY and hoping the weather report stays the same for now. Waiting for the snow storm to roll in right now. It was 52 degrees at 1600 and now its 34 at 1845 with wind gusts to 35mph. Gonna be an interesting night...LOL!

 

Sitting in Gary tonight, headed up to Phillips Wi in the AM after I fuel in Marshfield, have my Giants Hardhat on the dash. May have to wear it if I am still up here this Sunday.

 

in a rest area off I75s...Tried to find a parking spot at a couple pilots...I should know better than to try and find a spot after 9 pm on I 75...I lucked out with the rest area though...I had about an hour left on my clock and didn't want to risk not finding a spot...

 

At the TA in Monrovia, IN. The staff is nice but they really need to invest in some lights for the lot.
