If you got any questions about Knight, let me know. I'm new here but I'll try to keep up with the forums as best as I can. My husband worked for Knight for a year and a half up until the end of the year. We did want to wait for a lease purchase with them, so he went to another company, but we didn't have any complaints about them at all. As long as you watch your advances and don't spend all your money out on the road before you get your paychecks, then you should make a pretty decent living with them. We still got a buddy that works with them. He's also a trainer. Anyway, ya pretty good company

DECENT LIVING WITH KNIGHT.....

-
Hey guys, sorry so long of a wait. They have been running me, I havent had a run shorter than a thousand miles yet. Got my truck on the 23rd of Dec, brand new 2012 Volvo, I love it!!! I headed out to CA for my first load with Knight, then to Ill, then to PA & now to the bottom border of TX. I get paid ON TIME, & I get paid daily with my pay, not weekly. Ive already made enough to fix my truck up inside & out. And get a nice tv, PS3, movies & games. So i'm loving it, no complaints or REGRETS!!. I run & they pay me. I will post again soon, hopefully, if I have time!!
STUDTRUCKIN Thanks this. -
Um, yeah...I've driven for Knight. I'm calling BS. In fact, I'm calling a lifeguard, because the BS is well over my head and I'm tired of treading crap.

Maybe, you werent a runner like me. I dont like to sit & I just got an 1193 mile trip today, so I could care less about you calling BS, LIFEGUARD, YOUR MOMMY, or anything else. I like to run, & they have keep me running. I dont, whine, ##### & moan, I DRIVE, maybe you dont?
STUDTRUCKIN Thanks this. -
I currently drive for them. I've been running steady since Thanksgiving. I have a couple days off then I'm back out. Just take any load they offer and you will stay busy. Don't just hold out for the long runs. You WILL drive more miles than the Pre-Plan quotes, but from what I understand, that's the norm for the biz. I felt that I had to prove myself after training to get my DM to respect me, but that's to be expected. Some of the Knight yards are an absolute zoo. Overall however, I've been treated very well. I wish you the best.STUDTRUCKIN Thanks this.

That was my experience as well. Nothing bad to write about Knight from me.

i am currently setting in chicago waiting to get my load ( at a shipper ) i dont have any complaints on night. they keep me running and very busy, but i will tell you what i have learned here and about most compaines that i have worked for and thats that is is a lot on your attitude and what you make of the games. anyone can turn a bad situation into something worse than what it really is. sometimes ya gotta put a smile on your face and just roll with it. lol

something else i have learned, i have a great dm, but where i have a great one that keeps me busy their are probably 20 bad dm's that just doesnt care or is just sick of their driver complaining about every little thing.
this is trucking, if you have been out here more than a month we all know the game. their are times when you get to a shipper/receiver and your gonna have to wait because of the product or the trucks in front of you cause of a first come first serve basis. i myself have an average of 2700 miles a week because i have a great dm, weither you beleive it or not makes no difference to me cause im the one doing it and not looking for anyone's approval. just trying to telll everyone my ecperience here

I am new to the business, brand new as in about half way through school, and Squire/Knight is one of the companies I am considering. So I'd love to keep hearing more about them from you folks that are working for them. Please keep the news coming.
