Forgot to mention where i'm goin', lol. First stop Sedaila,MO ( this is a special add on not normaly on this route ) then head to Council Bluffs, IA. Spend the night there, unload Sat am. Then Bellvue, NE, and 2 stops in Omaha. Then head to Lincoln, NE ( they'll unload me early, not scheduled till Sun. ). Then spend the night at my backhaul at Farmland in Crete, NE. Then i'll head back to the center and go home. Not sure if anyone has my other old bid route or not yet. It used to leave Tues. am, i'd be off Mon. leave Tues. headin' to Arkansas, get back Wed. afternoon. Then be off Thurs. and leave again Fri on the above mentioned route. Probly wont work out this way again for awhile though, lol. But that's ok, i need to make some money anyway, so i'll probly be leavin' on a route Mon.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the best perk about Foodservice. FREE FOOD, lol. At the Golden Corrals and Sirloin Stockade's anyway, not very often at most of our other customer's. But i'm sure the other center's have customer's that feed them to. I did routes for our Lewisville, TX center for a couple months ( there all Burger King and Chick-Fil-A ) and most of them would feed ya' too. This is a preaty big perk when you look at the cost of living on the road for otr guy's. I don't know how some guys afford to live if they eat at truck stop's 2-3 times a day. I carried food with me, and it still got expensive just buying bread and milk, and eating there once a week.

Well, just my luck. First route back i sliped on a curb gettin' out of my truck and alomost broke my ankle. Finished my route though, still had two stop's to go when it happened. Now it's black and blue and swollen to about twice it's normal size. There gonna put me on a transfer route for a while so i can recover ( the transfer routes are just deliveries straight to one of our centers with no unloading ). Be leaving Wed. taking a transfer to Florida. Other than that everything went smooth it's great to be back, be glad to get back on regular route's makin' the good money. If i can just have better luck.

BigR Thanks this. -
Aren't you supposed to watch where you put them big, ole dogs down at?? lol
BigR Thanks this. -
are all your trucks bunks big r or do you have some daycabs
-
Some centers have their own daycabs for local runs, we don't. Ours are all sleeper cabs. If we get a route that's real heavy sometimes they'll rent a daycab to cut the weight down and put you up in a motel.
