Out of 11 pages i still have not found the answer to what he hit. The item seems like it would have to be large if a rim was bent . Maybe he curbed it. The other day we were dumping fill at a site, one of the drivers hit a fairly big rock pulling out, blowing a tire and bendig a rim. Maybe he's not telling you all of the truth pavel. Although out driver didnt have to pay a dime.

The way i see it you cant charge him for it. $h/t happens everyday on the road, we all know that. Maybe he is at fault but making him pay might just make matters worse for the both of you. If your looking to repremand him do it in another fashion, maybe a crappy run or a day off. I feel this is wrong to, he probably has kids at home and a wife. Think about more then the cost of a tire when deducting pay for a incident at work, because it affects more then some think. Let it be and move on.
