DD, I have heard that Central has a free ride through their school for Vets. You may want to check that out. I lasted 3 hours there, until I was honest. Disclosed the same stuff to Stevens and they had no problem. Go figure.

It won't affect their bottom line at all. They let good drivers walk every week, they have new classes starting all the time. In their opinion we are all expendable, especially after you have been there long enough to earn more than the $0.26 per mile.

 

Not sure who you spoke with but Schneider WAS hiring in the Detroit area when the hubby and I were 'home' in August. According to this link https://schneider.taleo.net/careers...&radius=1&location=1078560453020&src=JB-10540 they are still hiring in a large number of Michigan counties.

 

Well I got a call at 21:00 last night. Dispatch begging me to repower a meat load off a broken down truck, run it 150 down the road to a team so they could make on time delivery. Told them I only had three hours on 70 but could make it barely.
Ran the meat load to the team, picked there load(Dry Craft load) Delivery time was 0600 this morning, DM new I couldnt make it and promised to reschedule me after I got hours back at midnight.
He did reschedule, 0600..........the 17th....FML!!!

 

Wheres the Kraft load going to?

LOL,NO im at home,A lot of Kraft loads can be dropped early.That particular one I have only been to once.Show up early and act dumb,put in a repower request,dont just accept it.Call them and ask if you can come in early.

 

Oh I will, lol. It was nice, I bend over backwards for them just to get four days off. I will take my 34 then the messages will begin, have seen 40 stevens trucks in and outta here today, someones gotta be in trouble.
