Bowman is a bad company to work for! I was there 3 years. Started out short haul but then got tired of staying in hotels since they couldn't get me home. Then got a sleeper and yes they do slip seat. Trucks are not clean either. pay is not good. The insurance is expensive but good. They have gotten rid of all bonuses. The pay is not promising. Started there making .38cpm moved up to .42cpm and left there at .36cpm. I finally got away now i am with grayson mitchell and loving it.

DM Bowman will promise you everything but then you actually get nothing. The dispatchers will actually tell you that your making to much money then cut your miles. They now have long haul as 300 miles a load. (to me thats not long haul) Things may have changed but since I just left there in sept 2011 I dont think so.

Zip code to Zip code /Household miles? @ 2500 miles a week (which I seriously doubt) it's still only $825.

If they hire you, they own you. They control nearly every aspect of your life while working for them. Beware!
