The secondary air circuit is normally pneumatically actuated. Air pressure engages it. If the primary air circuit undergoes a complete failure, the foot valve travels down until it can actuate the secondary air circuit mechanically, and it'll still meter air, and still allow you to bring that truck safely to a standstill, which when I said "ASAP", I should've stressed that it meant "immediately".

my truck has a guage for trailer application and a guage for tractor application. also a guage for trailer air supply.J Man Thanks this.

Checked the Peterbilt and two Kenworths today in the yard - no on the Peter but both Ken's had them.

Well thats a first for me, never seen a brake application just for the trailer only.

I've heard more chrome makes your truck go faster so maybe more dials makes it run better.
