Ain't got time to go dig right now, what are you saying? My point is an HID bulb will not work properly with a halogen reflector. PERIOD! The light sources are too different in their geometry. -
The light source is right if the proper blockage is in the head light. If you'll look inside the head light then you'll see some light us blocked
From the bulbs on the sides and or front. -
Also, please do not post if you do not know information on the topic besides it's illegal.

Sorry you had problems. I've had mine over a year. I'm also in a truck club and know of at least 300 other people that use this kit and haven't had any issues or tickets and there are members from all across the US.

Absolutely. They cause the light to scatter instead of being focused on one area. That's the reason why they are used OEM in projectors only.
But if you aim them properly they can be helpful. Most of what I see are drivers running to high a lumens or really cheap kits that give them a dark purple light and they have them aimed straight out. I wouldn't run any higher than 6000K. -
5k is the most bang for your buck. 4300 is better. -
Isn't 5k the brightest white?

I sell hid's. I used to carry ddm's. They crapper out on my cars and others that I've sold. I now only carry premium made, also self tested for 2+ years, hid kits. Ddm might be attractive because of their price but, you have to send your old/non working back to them, wait, pay for the shipping. -garbage. My current supplier: works differently. -
When buying the kit, you need to make sure you get the most lumens out of it. You do not judge the kit by how much it blinds you. You judge the kit by how much light output gets on the road - lumens.
