What time do you normally start?

I'm also an early bird....especially since I've gotten a little older. I don't mind driving in the dark when there's not much traffic, but evenings bother me more then they used to because of the headlights, glare, and reflections.

I like to shut down by 5PM when possible.

 

Well it's always been load dependent for me. I will run when i have the freight and miles but try my best to be stopped by 2am. Now as i said it's freight dependent so i run when it'savailable. Now at home it's 5am or so feed animals then breakfast then whatever until wife and daughter get home then it's cook supper and chill then usually try and be in bed by midnight.

 

5-6am. I wont take loads if it means driving all night. Im not a night.person and i hate it. Occasionally something happens and i have to. I do it because i always do whatever it takes to get the job done but im not going looking for it

For the most part last job picked up 2200-0100 and delivered 1000 miles away 0400-0800. Back loads would vary.
