before all is said and done would'nt driver need to give two weeks notice of quitting before demanding truck to be removed??...and company should tell him where to drop equipment off but they put themselves in a situation where driver has tested positive for sleep apnea ..and would be legally responsible for having him drive without remedy if accident occurred!! legally???

Well first time all year I had to throw on a set of chains! Where you may ask???
CT!!!!!
I know, I know, can't run chains in CT but as the two trucks stayed stuck on the hill and others started forming a line behind them, this SUPERTRUCKER was trucking up that hill passing every one of them.
Hey, freight needed delivered and I could deliver it safely and ON-TIME!
Of course I removed them as soon as I got to the top, then continued on my way lol -
Don't know. I'd imagine that he would have to quit, but not sure that two weeks would be mandatory. They've pretty much put him out of work, so if he takes another job that pretty much means that he has resigned employment at JBS. So, I would get a job, then call JBS and tell them he's given up on them and is resigning effective immediately, and give them 20 days to get the truck out of the yard, if they will not give him permission to move it to a truck stop IN WRITING. -
Dropped a load in Erie yesterday and am now in NJ with 3 stops today (lucky me!). Kind of dicey driving in last night with freezing rain but not bad after getting through the hills of PA. My last stop is in Passaic. No PP yet, any parking around there? Thanks...

Not sure on the passaic side. But there's truckstops down in bordentown,nj. I think the only thing your gonna get near passaic is the service plazas on the jersey turnpike. Nj isn't very truck friendly for parkingMileHiBud Thanks this.

There is a mom&pop and a small Peelot on 17 in Mahwah. If I remember correctly, they were tearing down or remodeling that Peelot. Not sure if it's done.

True there is. But parking will be slim to none. Just like there's a pilot now up on 17 near the nj/ny line. But even there the parking is next to impossible. I still think from passaic the best bet is either the service plazas or the truckstops in bordentown, nj

Colorado is a no call state. Meaning they can fire you with out notice or having to give a reason. Also means you don't have to give notice when you quit. I know tankerman doesn't live in Colorado but isn't that his place of employment?

left this place at the bronx zoo
then went to this place
now i sit all day in the rain and cold and wait till i can deliver last 2 stops tomorrow ,,,,, what a waste of my time, and no help to my idle bonus ...
the way i see it the hell with the extra 100 $$ if the company wants to save money,,,,, start putting A P U 'S in every truck
tankerman1974 Thanks this.
