Well folks. Not sure where to begin, but its been an interesting two months. Had many good runs and a long cruise in the Caribbean. The cruise required us to turn in our truck. We hated to lose it, but we had planned on over two weeks off. We will get aanother vehicle tomorrow. Whoever got ours gets a good ride.

We had an issue our last day with some un-named employee at a customer's plant. This guy accused my son of having and threatening him with an illegal weapon! The police were called and searched us and our truck, finding no weapon and no basis for the guy's complaint. Unfortunately, Safety was called and my son was immediately suspended. The upshot was that we missed about an extra week's pay and had a lot of stress while waiting for them to get off their a-- and re-instate him. No one at Safety had the b---- to do it, even though we furnished them with a copy of the police report showing no basis for the complaint. I will point out that safety probably acted properly in the beginning. They just were s l o w re-instating him.

It was a nice run, and we hate the thought of probably being prohibited from that one customer over an invalid complaint.

That said, we're glad to get back on the road again and hope to meet most of ya'll at some point.

Hello everyone,Headed to orientation at shippensburg on 1/23,,,any words of advice and /or info? thks

 

Be honest and don't drink while in orientation like at the hotel lounge well best western doesn't have one but you know what I mean stay away from the Chinese restaurant near Walmart almost puked ordered general tsos chicken and the chicken didn't look like chicken but gooey lol not the advice ur asking but just keep a good attitude be honest and bobs a nice guy

 

i've seen enough people kicked out of orientation at t-hill for doing that...! you would think they could go three days with out having to drink....?

 

I'm ready for a drink myself. I'm still stuck in Ellensburg. Good thing I have no money or I would be real tempted...LOL

 

Well if it makes any of you feel better I drank both days this past weekend while grilling and watching football..... And I plan on doing the same thing this weekend... Lol

 

Lol stuck at my 1st stop right now nh gotta wait til 3 am yay first night with a reefer and it sucks Can't sleep
