I thought only Pansies were equipped with those? Either way!
He's been there a long time, he even gets paid by the hour to take his 10 hour break! They get paid for every single thing they do.... and anything that takes over 45 minutes, they go on the clock at an hourly rate. Last year he got stuck at a Walmart in and ice storm and got paid hourly for 14 hours and then hourly for his 10 break. Walmart is pretty much the Holly Grail of driving jobs.
People are so quick to jump on the BS wagon and they don't even have a clue.... either that or you can't believe it because you make .13cpm in a 46mph truck.

Even the village idiot can do the math to disprove you>$512 a day average as a company driver :biggrin_25523: :biggrin_25523: :biggrin_25523: :biggrin_25523:

$512 per day....just FOUR days a week...is over $106K per year....I know Wally drivers make good bucks...and if he's been there that long, he's doing really well...

...but the $512 per day sounds like a bit of a stretch.

I guess it could, but when taken into account all the stop pay, miles, hourly perks, etc.... not to mention seniority, and things like 401k match and profit sharing etc.... its not hard to get.

    Oh....so we're including 401k, etc....OK.

I run into a lot (LOT) of WM drivers...and they ##### and moan like the rest of us. Talk about micromanagement....I've heard some of the stories, and I'm not sure I'd want to put up with it. I used to believe WM was THE job to have. But time and experience has tempered that opinion.

Pops is happy. Says they treat him well and with respect. Anyone can be unhappy anywhere. Guess it takes character and positive self discipline to choose to be happy. Complaining is easy...... and some people even have fecal alarms to let them know when its time to revert to adolescents.

Sounds like he's blamed a company for his own faults.

    How many hours a day?

    How many miles drops, hooks?

Seems your the expert on Wal-Mart pay so enlighten the world on how a driver averages $512 a day in wages.

Remember, the whole world is watching so make it good!
