If the ONLY way to pay off truck with England is to train...well...that right there should speak volumes to how bad their lease is.
A driver shouldn't have to be forced to train just to make $$...that's a win win for England and complete failure for driver as england gets a basically a minimum wage team to make truckloads of $$ off of.

Based on your rambling, what I suggest you do every morning is along the lines of what Tim Tebow does, hit your knee's and ask your God to let you make money that day. If it works for Tebow throwing a football in a game, maybe it will help you to bring a check home. Amen!Dewey120 Thanks this.

A lot of these "newbies" suffer from know-it-all-ism. When I am at the SLC terminal they seem to have it all figured out already and they are trying to tell me what to do.

Anyone (with a family especially) that gets involved in a criminal scam like this is an idiot plain and simple.

It would've taken five minutes to google it and figured out it was a scam.

Dude, you only have one person to blame...Look in the mirror..

The truck payment I quoted was from the CR England website. The only carrier I know with lease payments around a grand a week would be Prime.
Not saying your info is "wrong" per se just would like to see your source. Something in writing that can be verified with a google search. Hearsay always seems to "evaporate" once you begin to investigate.AfterShock Thanks this. -
Why would you as a student go for something like this? Why on earth would you jump into a lease with only 2 mnths exp? Your FSC has to be p.o.'ed to you over the qualcomm. Or at least be inluded somewhere in the plan/dispatch info. You can't expect to just fuel up and get that 1.25 per gallon at the pump.
Alot of loads don't even have fuel on 'em. Some of those top ten accounts that these companies tend to baby, can somehow get away without paying for fuel.
If your in a red zone, sometimes you gotta take a hit to get you to a green zone, but you can't pull the cheap stuff ALL the time. If it's a top ten acct, you really have to look at the dispatch info closely.AfterShock Thanks this. -
These lease programs are insane. If you can't finance a truck through a regular loan, then maybe paying out the wazoo to play owner operator isn't the best idea, especially when the truck is even less "yours" than a traditional financed truck.

Well point blank...if you don't have the stash of cash in the bank to go invest in your own equipment and start your own business up...well, then you shouldn't be going into business.
The lease programs are set up for failure on the driver...
A good business minded person would never put themselves in position to be controlled by some rogue trucking co with a sham lease.
