I hate those things. The ground clearance is always a problem. However, the smaller ones like a 1300 Marini you could just drive up on a Landoll tilt-deck. Nothing like doing things the easy way.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Lol, You can say that again. Yeah they are a pain in the rump, i think this one was a road tech. Those things are a pain in the rearend to figure out how make it move. Lol
-
I've seen them pulling double drops and RGN. -
just make sure you get it on facing the right way. a guy down here put it on with the bucket facing front, caught an over pass with bad clearence and cut the bridge in half. talk about getting fired.
-
I saw the pics on the internet and then I passed under that bridge.
I bet the driver was wide awake from WTF fright after that little ride of the day.
-
We had that happen here on the Beltway about 10 years ago. Some idiot from Canada loaded an excavator with the boom sitting on the gooseneck and about 3' too high. He wound up knocking down a pedestrian bridge onto a car, killing the driver.
-
that burns me, accidents do occur but that shouldn't have happened.
-
I just don't get people, not long ago someone was pulling a brand new front loader, must of forgot to check clearance and drove under a bridge and there it stayed till they could figure out a way to get it out. There was nothing left of the cab when they got it out.
-
not to brag but the largest loads i have ever hualed (with out a cdl-lol...military lisence...i now have a cdl and waiting for a hazmat back ground check) whas a D-7R and d-7g dozers from san diego up to camp petalton ,CA during rush hour bumper to bumper !FUN and i miss it here in OKC now! rolled in kuwait with a case loader on the back and the a drivers M-16 out the window a few years ago-that as interesting also.

A D7 is a fair size machine. Did they have the 13' blades on them?
