Did you check the Water Bomb ( trans cooler ) they fail regularly.. also its posible the eng oil cooler may only leak when hot.. there is really no other way for oil to get in the coolant other than a power steering cooler or someone mixed up jugs of fluids.. coolant in the oil is another story.. seem like a huge undertaking for a relativly easy fix and flush...

the water was heated to 125 during the test, i had bypassed the cooler, and i think before making conclusions you should think a dig in your mind a bit deeper, my hypothes is a liner is probably pitted so that when piston is going up its pushing oil into the coolant

Id be interested in the old acert . The. 2ws will communicate with the smart dash , the acert in wv will need cat et as well or you can swap ecms provided its not a bxs. We swap stuff around down here so call if you need anything

yeah the engine in WV comes with the ecm and everything. The truck was rear ended and the frame was bent so he parted it out and is saying good bye to the drivers seat I wanted to find a load today and start heading over there but with the lovely weather ill rather take care of some trailers that need some work and on monday send a driver over there or go there myself. The one that in WV is an MXS, the one sitting in the shop is a BXS

Unfortunately your bxs ecm is not usable for either your 2ws or the mbn. Actually it won't work on anything but a bxs. Your new mxs will plug right into your current cab harness. From the 2ws thru the nxs series, they all use the same 70 pin cab to ecm even tho some are 120 from ecm to engine. So your still plug and play with your new mxs.

On a side note in my personal Pete project truck I put a mxs where a 40 pin used to live. It only involves a simple adapter harness or getting a 70 pin plug and re pining the 40 harness to it. I used option #2. Good luck with your swap, let us know how it goes.
