My lightweight cascadia came with a passenger seat, but I had them remove it just for the space. Now I have a milk crate and some bags in it's spot. I figured that even if I did keep it for a possible passenger, there wouldn't be enough room for us to sleep comfortably in the twin size bed!!
Also, mine has two fuel tanks =P -
Hello Neighbor, are you a 48 state driver or regional? If prime has regional. I hope to join prime one day soon. I am a former reefer driver with a company i will not say right now hoping that prime will let me be one again. Health issues stop me from continuing my driving career, i am working on that tho.

I'd trade both of the seats in this cascadia for one comfortable one.

We did not have passenger seats at Chippewa Motor Freight. They offered me a job with the safety department. I would have to use a folding chair when testing a driver. I turned down the promotion.
-
I kept my passenger seat and had a little cooler by my seat. I liked it caused I could grab a cold drink even when driving.
Whether you want a seat is up to you. But for record. Theirs barely enough room in a lightweight for one person. -
Soon you guys are gonna have me talked into doing flats with a full-size truck. A cooler between the seats would work. That's sort of what I had been picturing. Hadn't really thought about a mini-fridge in the truck before this thread. Seebs, how is the new job going?
Folding chair when testing a new driver? Yeah, I think I'd turn that down too. Wow...

Howdy! I'm OTR with them and am fairly new. Sorry, not sure about regional stuff.
Medic10, you could also be a trainer for a full size, I s'pose. =P -

He's not even a driver yet.
That's about as smart as putting your safety director in a folding chair for driving tests.
Of course, I guess that depends on who your safety director is. -
Check out the new Bose truck seat article (Pilot or TA Rag, I forget which.) Uses their noise cancelling technology to eliminate vibration. Think it was only $6000.00!heyns57 Thanks this.
