One thing you can count on is if you gotta have it, the price is going up. Now I not to sure the oweners of the trucking co. are the brighest stars in the sky. Along with the builder of the trucks . There has to be a cheaper and more efficent way for this industry. But on the other hand, you cant please everyone. Looks like its more of a qugmier. Accepting what it is, rather then what it could be, or could it be anyway other then what it is.?
I have seen some new inevation on trailers, the new softsides. Does that increase gas milage.. Also seen the new single tire per axle rigs. Does that reduce cost ? Some one is trying to do something, but it looks like it not at a fast enough pace.
I sure would like to jump into the fire of trucking for a living, but man so many scary stories. I not concered about being home that often, but sitting for 3 or 4 days waiting on a load, would be very costly week in and week out.
So until I make a decision, I am still taking in alot of info to make the correct decision, hopeing it the right one, with the right company.
But I have made a decision if I do go for my CDL I am deffently going to a sage truck driving school. I have learned that much already.!! for sure.!
Thanks to everyone who has contribute post to inform all the newbie like me.
are they all that bad?
