I agree. If Stevens runs the tanker division like they do the OTR they wont last long pulling tankers.

Yall check out 3 way trucking out of Boyd, tx they haul all the sand for our frac jobs -

Are there any oil field companies near San Antonio or in South Texas hiring truck driving school graduates?
-
are you just wanting to solely drive? The trucks I see coming to our well site are Texas Energy, Mission Well Services, Alice something or other, WTS (well or water transfer services) Shale Trucks/Trucking, man there are so many it is hard to keep them straight.
If you want to see who is down there drive down 83 from Asherton to Catarina, Texas, you should see about 300 on that 20 mile stretch.
As far as oil companies hiring frac hands, here are the companies actively hiring:
Sanjel USA
Weatherford
Halliburton
BJ
Baker Hughes
Cudd
FracTech
Platinum
CalFrac
SchlumbergerBORNtoROAM Thanks this. -
FYI I started with ZERO exp in the oil field and got on a frac crew as an equipment operator 1 and my take home was $1500/week to start so the money is there. We put in about 110-120 hours a week though.

I'll be starting CDL school in another week or so, and after graduating will be looking towards Texas. I have family in the Red Oak area that I can stay with, and while it would be nice to find work in that general area, I would be willing to travel/relocate elsewhere in the state, be it for hauling sand, water, pumping, you name it.
Does anyone know what opportunities for recent grads can be found in the DFW area? Any other company leads, contacts (aside from just company name) be it DFW, or elsewhere would be helpful.
Thanks
