hit the deer, total the truck, or swerve?
-
Hit the deer. No matter what, YOU are in control of that vehicle. Deer, most of the time, Non-Preventable.
-
seen a truck that hit a big ole deer, nah.. changed my mind for life.. i'll swerve to avoid a center hit, i'll get 'em with some fender tire and half a charged air cooler before i go all out radiator grill.
-
Then the deer will swerve back in front of you .

hmmm... they do tend to do that don't they.??.. Guy hit a buck in mid leap.. ####### ended up through the windshield and in the cab kicking.. driver was out of work for six months and had more plastic surgery then three hollywood actress put together. they said he was gonna loose his eye but i don't know if he did or didn't.. went to the army and lost touch with the trucking world for some years.

I'll bet they do. That roll stability wouldn't work with a big single coil on. In the test video, the coil would have been off that trailer in an instant. And would have damaged the out rigger axles and the trailer. The video isn't realistic to me, with out a full load on of some sort.
-
Good replies guys. The truck in the video had ESC(electronic stability control), you could see the truck braking itself during the turn. I know the outriggers were to protect the truck if a roll over actually occurred when they were testing the stability control. They would not work on a road driven truck...too much liability with hitting other vehicles an all that jazz. My invention attaches to the bottom of the trailer and as soon as a rollover sensor "senses" the truck leaning past a preset angle. the installed machine would power up increasing down force of the trailer. Like i said it works already small scale but i have yet to try it full scale as of yet. when i tried it on a scale size R/C rig my invention kept the truck/trailer combination from flipping over and I was using a blower fan putting out 65mph measured with a wind speed meter. Oh yeah and to the guy that said we already use wind skirts. those dont keep you from rolling over they are used to decrease the wind drag on your trailer by sending the wind around your trailers' axles.

so it wouldn't be a counter weight? hmmm.. interesting, interesting indeed.
-
Ok this is getting interesting. By time a gyro send a signal to a device that it is tipping over apply down force four jet packs pop out the side of the trailer and there went that ice cream load
