Tetreau Transport

the TOP is from florida,i seen it when he came up for x-mas,it was red and said florida at the top of the plate,ill call him and find out if it says anything else

the TOP i think was for his truck....its just that he paid for his plates(i think it was $200 a week for 5 weeks)...when the TOP ran out the company said that they had his plates in the office...so he ran it cause dot would be able to pull it up in Tallahassee computers,,but there never got the plates so he was fined, then he revived another TOP plate only good for 1 month,,,so now that i think about it that second plate was probably someone elses

 

A TOP is a Temporary Operating Permit, it is just a white 8 x 11 piece of paper that is tape to the passenger side of the windshield that is issued by the FL IRP or some DMV Offices. You don't get plates with a TOP. Did they give him the plate, if so what is the plate number, if he got a ticket then the plates were expired? If they gave him a TOP can you get the TOP number? I will be glad to research and help in anyway, plus I am sure there are several agencies that will jump on board. Just tell your DAD not to throw anything away. Keep everything, document, every insurance paper, leases, everything. Plus has he sent the plate back yet? These guys need a wake up call. They will continue to do this in the new business.

 

ya you are right,hes still got the top paper,when he got the ticket he sat at a hotel waiting for his plates he paid for.instead they sent him plates that expire in February.they are florida plate(probably from someone eles truck) this is the plate number z8209v.....i dont have the top number right now

 

Great, get the TOP number from your Dad. When did you Dad start running for them?

 

ok people here we go my name is Rodney Hall and i'm putting this out there to take these bums down if enough people respond we can band together and bring a class action lawsuit against these guys ,tetreau transport, i can be contacted by email hallrc86@yahoo.com.

if anybody running for tetreau transport has plate#z0590p, that was the plate i turned in when i quit back at the 4 dec.,2011 i would definately be finding out if it was assigned to your truck and not them just saying it is

if and when you send me email about class action lawsuit, if you could send name and phone# so i can give to lawry so they can contact you it would be much appreciated , this could possibly speed the process if i can give the lawry this info when i talk with them thx-u

live and learn you are right earlier today this was a 9 page forum. I just spoke with your father and he sounds like a very good man we exchanged #'s and i'm working hard to get to talk to more tetreau transport drivers with our problem as soon as i get home i will be in contact with an attorny to see about proceeding with a class action lawsuit but the more drivers who respond to my msg with name and phone #'s the better are chances are at putting a stop to the terrible tetreau transport saga

i contacted state attorny's office and they told me to contact wage and hourly wages and the labor board and i have and i'm waiting for a call back its been 2 business days so i will call them all back on monday

i hope tetreau's and the park's and anybody else who works for this company or the new network 1 company are reading these post they will see we are starting to organize and that will bring caous to there little camp once more driver see we are trying to do something about getting them some of their lost money back and are serious about doing it maybe more will come forward and not just let it go these guys need to be shut down close the doors and be made NEVER to have a trucking company or brokerage ever again the drivers are what make these companies the company doesnt make the driver

yes yes yes i am back just to let you know tetreau transport was skimming off the top of loads i talk to a place where i ran 4loads from eldarado,ar to eldarado,ks and the man who paid for the loads to be delivered there let me know what he was paying i did the math and low and behold there was no fuel surcharge and the % that russ jr quoted me was not what the load came out to be imagine that crooks lets deal with these people and shut them down before they ruin anymore families and drivers

This is a horrible story! I feel for all you guys. I actually called the company but all I got was a voice mail. I had a company do close to the same thing to me and 12 others. When i told them I would be getting a lawyer they gave me my money. Sounds like y'all are not so lucky.
Unfortunately, this is a story I read over and over. This industry has a bad rep. For a reason. The feds regulate the hell out of us and let the other side run wild. Depending on how much they have stolen,in my opinion, will the the biggest factor in them being out of business. Not what they have done. Seems like companies get fined then are allowed to resume business.
I will be glad to help with research as my new contract does not start up for a week or so. The company I got involved with had 42 trailers and i very few that had a dot inspection sticker! They ran like this for a while. My contract said $625 a week for trailer lease and one week they charged me $2500. My paychecks were late and i was never paid what I had agreed to in terms of demerrgue. So since I have some time please let me know if i van help. I have high powered computers and a friend that does demographs for the government. I will do what I can.
