    Plains says about 80,000 per year with a 5 and 2, 5 and 1 or 6 or 1 schedule.

Yeah that was for no CDL. In one of these threads a guy that was working for FFE said that he and a few that were apart of the Engineering division in the oilfield quit because they were not working much. This guy said that he worked two days on a two day check! He said that it was supposed to get better this month but didn't stick around to see based on their word as they had initially promised the hours. It's on page 107 of this thread.

    Patt52 Thanks this.

I'm not sure with Plains, but a lot of companys around west Texas say one thing in their ads/website, but when you walk through their door looking for work they let a lot of those requirements slide. It is truly a drivers market down here. You can tell those OTR companys to go to hell and get a good paying job. :yes2557:

So we left Saturday morning as planned. Took us 8 hours to get from Tallahassee to new Orleans because my dog was sick and throwing up in the back seat every 50 miles. Got up the next morning and my wife was sick, so I took the kid to the aquarium while she rested. Woke up this morning to find thatsome a-hole smashed the driver side window on the Uhaul and tore out the ignition. They failed at stealing the truck, but were able to snag my laptop and a bag containing my passport, social security card and otherpersonal items. I'm kicking myself for leaving them in the cab. I'm usually not that careless. But at least they didnt get the whole #### truck.

After reading Vegas Painter's thread I'm thinking about heading to Corpus Christi in the morning. My apologies fof any typos. I picked up a tablet from best buy and I need to learn how to type on this blasted thjng

Dude, I have seen you on these threads for some time now whining about companies not hiring newbies. They are not going to hire a newbie over the phone or email. You need to get off the internet and get in front of these people.Just about all of them say they need experience, but if you would just get out there, you WILL find someone who will hire you. So quit complaining and go make something happen. I wish all the best to you, good luck.
