Testosterone for old guys

My sisters husband had his prostate removed from early cancer.They did the testosterone thing on him. I tease him, telling him he's growing man boobs.

 

I take natural supplements for it, L-ARGININE, and DHEA, work's for me. But I've alway's been active, if you was to see what I come to, you would understand

 

Sure you can! I have always had a huge fear of needles my whole life for some reason. I can't stand to look at someone draw my blood. Now I have to take an insulin shot once a day. It was hard at first, but I got over the fear and don't even think about it now. But the blood draw still gets me. I also refused to let the doctor stick me in the spine. I guess it depends on needle size and where. The tiny needles you don't even feel them.

 

So how often do you have inject your self?

Not meaning to make fun of it but some of the side effects seem quite desirable.

 

Some may be desirable, but there is also an increased risk of cancer. You have to weigh the bad against the good with medication, and sometimes, you just don't have a choice but to go ahead and keep a close watch on what is happening.

I was on Prilosec for almost a year. The side effects are sneaky on that stuff. I had read all about them, but the snuck upon me before I realised it. It took me at least a year before most everything was close to normal. Some things I have now I believe are permanent results of taking it. Most people are so happy with less heartburn they don't notice what is happening to them.

I am on one medication that I don't like the short term and long term side effects, but it is one of those things where I have to hope for the best, because I am much worse off without that medication.

 

Cortozone shot? for some messed up discs. I'd rather deal with the pain than let them do that. It's only temporary relief and isn't guaranteed.

The fear of needles says no. It's a big one too.

 

I have always been scard to death of shots and doctors, make it hard passing my green card, blood is way hi when in the office then normal the rest of the time, yukky needles to. So where does this shot go, i hope the left or right arm.

 

Epidural injections. I've had 12. the first ones only worked for a few days. The last group I had seem to have worked the best.

 

My eldest daughter had to have a Lumber Punch a number of times in her first few months.
They would not let us parents be in the same room for fear of us interfering.
I could however hear her scream in agony.
