I am currently working for Werner. Been driving for about a year and half now, a year on Family Dollar, and a few months running Chep Pallets out of Knoxville, TN. I am 22 now, will be 23 at the end of June and live in Knoville. I have been looking for another company for a while now.

I have put serious thought into BTC, and Loudon County Trucking. However I have been trying to make sure that i make the right move. I would prefer weekly hometime. But can deal with every week as long as the company has a Rider program. (would like a company with immediate riders).

Was told by a buddy of mine that I ran Family Dollar with that I should run out my time until I hit 23, possibly go to BTC or another flatbed company and then go to Boyd bros, where he started recently.

I dont have any endorsements yet or any experience besides dry van and about 3 or 4 loads of pallets on a flatbed.

Dont know if hwy transport is hiring right now or not. I haul fuel in Knoxville and they are closing there fuel division in Knoxville in the middle of March. They still will be doing the chemicals and think some of there fuel drivers are going to be switching over to that side from what I have heard. Never hurts to call and check just trying to give you a heads up on that.
