    I have my slide rule from electronics school ( 1963-1967 ) My forst college class when I got out of the ARMY in 1970 I had it with me .....

    I was shown something called a calculator ....

    Funny how we become dependent on that also..... Case in point.... Ask a cashier to count back your change......

    WOW, a slide rule do they still make them? I haven't seen one in years.

    Moving my mom a few years ago and found some stuff of my dad's... he had a mechanical calculator (from the late '50s/early 60s?). It had a stylus and a slide thing for each number, the function (just simple ones) and the equals.

    Thats the one I used in electronics school from 1963-1967 so it is 48 years old.

    There is just as much "traffic" on the C band as there is on the CB channels on D band. What's up with that?
