CDL & Medical cert

    In New Hampshire there is nothing like this. The DMV can care less if you have a medical card when renewing your CDL.

    Just renewed mine, guess I beat the deadline. Not that I don't have a medical card because I do.

    Renewal means nothing.

    All CDL's will be required to comply with this in the period they have set.

    Lucky for me, my CDL is due to expire just about the time the State is requiring this. So, I will have to show the medical card and then in 2 years show it again. CDL is good for 4 years in Illinois.

    I called the DMV here in PA and there is no law or date passed on this as of yet.
    They said they have had many calls from CDL drivers re: this issue but no
    official mandate has been set.
    Only that letters will be sent out to all CDL drivers if/when this is required.
    If anyone has any more info on this for PA I would like to hear it.
