I'm sorry, needing 3 pullups to properly park a bobtail would fail you on your passenger car driving test. I'm not looking down my nose, these are basic skills my 18yo could accomplish. If there was a trailer then yes take as many pullups as you need, but a bobtail should be nothing.
FYI this guy wasn't just an inch crooked, he was one corner on one line and the other corner on the other line. He may as well have jacknifed it.
I will say it was entertaining to watch, and I did not give him a hard time about it. I doubt he would've understood me anyway.kw9's rock Thanks this. -
My favorite is truck stops. I'm amazed at how many trucks I see 'nosed' into parking spots instead of backed properly into. Just last night at the Petro in Weatherford, TX exit 409 there was a blue and white moving company (y'all know the one) truck that had nosed in while the lot was pretty empty and when they came out after doing whatever for a few hours the lot had filled up. They tried for half an hr to get out and almost hit the same truck beside them numerous times. Finally everyone around the movers truck got tired of having their rig almost bruised up and 3 trucks had to pull out, circle back, and let this fool have enough room to back out. If the trucks forced out of their spots by this idiot happened to have electronic logs there is a possibility that they could've gotten a log violation from moving over the limit and the log automatically going to driving status, not to mention the inconvenience of having to pull out cause some lazy or incapable person won't do their job correctly. These individuals that call themselves 'drivers' sign all the same paperwork that I do when I apply for a job and are supposed to have the same skills but sadly this isn't the case these days due to the 'puppy mills'.

I hear ya,,, seems I'm seeing that more and more.kw9's rock Thanks this. -
Sometimes I nose in just because I don't want to be bugged. But if I do, I look around first to make sure I can get out when the lot fills up.

Yuck! Nosing in, in general I'm not a fan of. The picture in my signature is at an account we nose into...Backing out of that space is a serious PITA! Plant workers, forklifts, blind corner all going on behind you...Oh, and it's dark.....

Never stopped me from leaving yer' local Pilot!
You block me in and I've got an appointment to make, it ain't gonna be pretty.
Last guy that got in my way got a piece of my attitude on the way out. And no, I didn't spill my coffee.

Why does New Century have cords on? To cheap for chains?

I have to admit, that I am one of those who can screw up, backing a bobtail. Keep trying to get the rear of that trailer....er.... bobtail, to go the direction I want.

Wouldn't nosing into a spot and not being able to get out blocking yourself in? Hmmmm...
