Shooting is nothing more than mechanics and technique. You learn the first and acquire the latter. I've taken many weak shooters and turned them into sharpshooters. A lot of good women shooters out there too. I would expect so see them break the barrier and attend one of the service sniper schools one of these days.

Well this changes everything. Starting tomorrow, I'm bringing a pillow and blanket to work. Since I'm being driven by the truck, I might as well get a nap in during the trip. I wish you had told me this sooner.

A 13 speed is my favorite and a 10 speed stretches my patience but truck driving is not all about shifting gears. The truck I am driving now ( hopefully not too long) is an Eaton M-Drive Automatic. It has its advantages. You can just sit back and relax when driving in traffic. It has its disadvantages also. The gear selection may not be what you want...........The driver still has to be able to negotiate traffic, stop a loaded truck, get into places almost impossible to get in, back on your blind side, and the biggest thing, deal with other truck drivers on the road.

It's like driving one of those old people scooters, an automatic. Just point the front part in the direction you want to go and viola!

I'm from Des Moines, Iowa. I am still learning. I have just heard -- from a driver right in front of me- that he likes the auto-shifting. He says he has choice of auto and manual. He claims that manual transmissions have messed up his knee.
