LadyK, tell Klingon to make them pay for shipping. The truck is under warranty and its not your problem they don't have the tools to work on it! Don't be afraid to make a fuss because those dealers will really nickel and dime you.

    Wedge and celticwolf Thank this.

What chompi said.. Why is it your problem that they did not have a part in stock or a tool needed to fix a truck.. I know it's only $20.00, but it's the principal..

They said it was because the 'expedited' the needed part... But they 'comp'ed' us because of the confusion re: the new configuration of the rear wheel hub (or something like that...) I really don't care how they justify it... Just as long as we don't pay it :biggrin_25523:

So we are back in Matilda and are having fun with safety now... We scanned our paper logs and they inputed our on duty and drive times... And got them all messes up :biggrin_2554: ARG!!

    Wedge Thanks this.

OMG... Actually got a complement from the log nazi @ safety!! :biggrin_25523:

He said he could read them and everything... He put all of our time on the drive lines though... Now it's up to us to edit in the on duty time out of the drive time... Sigh... Not today... It's after my shift and doing office work (in a moving truck) I feel like :biggrin_2554:... A bit green around the gills LOL!!

Problem with that is the locations won't match. Safety should be modifying your logs...

they did... and they have our scanned copies of our paper logs... mostly this was to update our clocks (especially our 70 - since the time in the rental truck didn't constitute a 34 hr reset - LOL)... how ever WHEN he modified them to put the time in, he just put ALL the time on line 3... we need to break out the line 4 - and for location, they have our paper logs (and since we scanned them, we have the originals).

You can't modify line 3. Only safety can do that
