I've been in the industry for only seven months, and I joined this forum to better communicate with drivers who do all the hard work and allow me to have a job in transportation.
Although I don't have a CDL, my company had me ride along with our drivers for two weeks before starting work in sales. As a complete newbie to transportation, it was a great experience. I learned a lot in those first two weeks, working with the drivers (helping where I could) and seeing what they go through on a daily basis. I met some amazing people for whom I have the utmost respect.
I'm hoping that by becoming a member here that I can learn more from the experts in the field and gain knowledge as I continue my career in transportation.
Thanks again to everyone who drives a truck.
Thanks Truckers!

WOW !!! Thanks for the "thank you". I have never heard of a company doing what they did with/ for you but it's a welcome change. Whatever company you work for gets a hearty Well Done from me for going about this in a much better approach than most. If you don't mind, tell us the name of your company.

You are ..Welcome!!! This site is truely invaluable to us truckers.

HeWhoMustNotBeNamed send me a PM as I don't want to be flagged for advertising or recruiting in broadcasting my company's name. I'll reply back with the info.
And to both you and OilfieldTrucker, keep up the great work!
