I used to work for a farmer. The hand drawn maps were always the best.

Like the driver looking for the Walmart DC in Los Lunas, NM in the town where I grew up in, Las Cruces, NM which is 200 miles south of Los Lunas. He asked us at the Walmart where I worked for directions. He had a 0500 apt and it was 0245. I will never forget the look on his face when we told him where he was.

This is the reason why we dont need trainer's who have only been a OTR for 6 months teaching the proper methods of being a Truck Driver! If he had checked his bills for correct info such as "ADDRESS" and then looked at the map and followed his route prior to just taking off he might have been better off or realized that he is a #########

I've never gone to the wrong town, but I've dang sure had broker loads that delivered in a different state than what you expected.:biggrin_2556: And I never saw it where it was less miles or in a better freight area either! And knowing the high ethical standards in the brokerage industry, I'm sure it was just honest mistakes! :biggrin_2559:

Honest mistake... Yeah lets go with that.... while we're at it if that's what you consider an honest mistake might want to toss in the holocaust and the idiots who started the Y2K scare as just being an honest mistake haha.
