Listen and pay attention. If you don't understand they will explain it to you. However, Central is a fast paced school meant to teach you basics and get you in a truck. So be ready to learn a lot in a short amount of time.

Depends on what you were driving. I drove straight truck so the shifting was the same the backing and the turning was different. Not hard to learn if you are willing.

Hey quick question. I filled out an app (looking into the Central Ref training program) and received an email indicating there would be a follow up call/email headed my way. Any idea how long it generally takes to hear back from Central?

    Thanks

Not sure, but hey... If you don't hear from them in a week, give them a call back. Let's them know you are interested.

I agree call them back within a week to check on it if you haven't heard from them. I did and it helped me out they have so many apps to go through they don't always get to yours right away. If you call them it goes to the top of their list. Also once you get a recruiter stay on top of them not only with phone calls but with emails too. They seem to answer the emails quicker then phone calls.

I spoke to a recruiter before I filled out online app. The next day she(Megan Bennet) Sent me the pre hires, sent them back and following day was asked when I wanted to start. Not sure if you put recruiters name on app, but might be the main difference. She might not answer each time but, has always returned call in an hour or two, been pretty easy so far.
