What is your opinion about a refridgerated cooler? Would it take up too much space? Or is that something that would be frowned upon? Do the trainers usually eat at truck stop's & fast food joint's or out of there coolers?

I use a coleman cooler. I had an old one that I sold. It was a lot better than this new one I bought. The old one was like a deep freeze. The new one does not cool as well.:biggrin_2556:

I have noticed that the coolers available now are not like the older one I sold too. It is kind of disappointing.

Will Trainers Mind If You Bring One For Yourselfand Would There Be Somewhere To Plug It In? I'm Sure That The Trainer Would Probably Have All The Plug Ins Full With There Stuff Right?

There won't be be room for 2 people and 2 coolers. Some won't even run a cooler cause they don't want the student eating their grub. They will say it is easier and cheaper to eat out and not feed 2 people.

It is cheaper to bring your own grub, but you need to wait until you see what your trainer wants. It is his truck. If he is decent he will run you by wally world and let you get a few things to put in his cooler or buy a loaf of bread and peanut butter and eat pilots 2 for 2 buck hotdogs to get buy on. Try to get a decent meal every now and then, When you go solo you can stock up on grub.

I leave this coming week and have mostly everything you mentioned except the briefcase.

Is this and all the items for it that important going with the trainer of is this suggested for when we get out on our own?

It is a good guideline, Ask your company for a packing list of what to bring.

    Buzzard Thanks this.
