new info. on Melton truck lines

Did he tell you your truck number?

 

Just got it today when he shook my hand and said welcome to Melton.. I have to fly to PA to go to the terminal in OH to get my truck... Its an automatic KW, i was a little disappointed bout it being an auto bu t they say i will love it.. and im sure i will cause it says Melton on the side and its a KW.. but my truck number is 6958.. so if you every see me out holla at me on d cb they call me Hound dog...but ill be at the OH term monday mornin to get my truck

Does Melton let use loose leaf or do you have to keep pages in the log book?

 

if u dont get on elogs it will be logs in a log book were u have to keep all pages in the book...

and I do not think they let you go loose. I am going to ask if i ever get to a yard. They have no way of knowing if you do or not until you get to Laredo or Tulsa and have to clear the log dept.

 

Maybe if it dont work out with my dm but i have to try to wrap my head around everything first before i can be picky because i know i am going to be slow at first.. Actually im pretty nervous about my first load orientation was really short.. But i got most of the basics LOL.... I hope my truck is a 660 but they said it was a 600.. but i will find out Monday... Yea got to get on a plain this mornin and fly down to Houston then fly up to Pa then shuttle to the Massury yard.. Fun Fun but i am very proud to say that i work for melton.. Maybe one day i can call myself a flatbedder ...

 

Cant wait till Monday then i get my Truck.. Till then sittin in the hotel relaxin and studying load securement....
