I'm not sure which forum to put this in but since it's apparent that the driver was pretty angry I think the "Bad Company" forum is a good bet.
My girlfriend, who works in the office of a major trucking company, just sent me this email being sent to everyone in the company. Seems a driver in St. Louis was messed with by his dispatcher or the shop guys once too often.
    "
    Per driver *****

The police officer told this driver the cause of the fire was by a disgruntled *** company driver who pulled his truck halfway into the shop, poured diesel on the cab of the truck & set it on fire, attempting to burn the place down. This driver has been handcuffed by the police.

All of the drivers were escorted from the OC and are currently waiting in passenger vans or in the lobby at the Flying-J.

How many drivers have been angry about something and dreamed of doing something like this?:biggrin_2554:

That driver didn't do anything but screw himself and make it harder on other drivers. He will probably do some time and the company will beef up security measures. And the BFI's roll on

Yea. He just messed himself up. The only way to make a statement with results would be to just stay still for a couple of weeks. Then they might catch a hint.

I took out the drivers number and the company because it is an internal email and I didn't think it was for the public and since the driver hasn't been charged yet, to protect his identity.
Your right about screwing himself. He is being held by Homeland Security as they are treating this as a terrorist act and also, no company is ever going to put him in a truck again.
I also thought it was a little funny as no-one was hurt and he didn't do much except destroy the truck, the building was undamaged.

I guess this will be on the news pretty soon as the police, fire and Homeland Security were all called so the company is Schneider National.
