Can anyone chime in on what they or their company is paying for LNG at the Flying J/CLean Energy/Trimac in Baytown TX???
I have a chance to buy a few used LNG straight trucks for local deliveries. . .but as there is only ONE station within 200 miles, I want to make sure the LNG prices there are not too high.
The price is not listed on altfuels, etc. and the phone # listed is for Clean Energy's corporate office in Seal Beach CA.
Please specify if you are quoting fleet price how many LNGs your company has running. Or if it is a posted public price LMK!!
WTH, there's only a few stations nationwide right now with public access. . .any and all price reports welcome!!!
TIA!!!!!!

I have no idea on your original question but you might consider calling a few of the fuel delivery companies and seeing what it would cost to have them come to your business and fuel those trucks at night. Used to work for a company that had diesel delivered this way for their delivery fleet and it seems like you could do it with LNG as well. Depending on how much you use it can be cheaper too.

the infrastructure is being put into place but it will take time. if there isnt a fueling station close to your operations it may not be the best time to purchase an lng vehicle. the chicken needs to be there before the egg.

Thanks, You are right about the timing. The Clean Energy stations will be here soon enough and are close enough for me to use them as we run local trucks (Baytown is open, and San Antonio this year). . .but I don't think the infrastructure (in Competition) will be there soon enough to keep them honest!!!
Which brings me back to my original question which I skewed a bit. . .How much is the LNG per gge in Baytown TX? -
Also make sure you know and get the Trimac price and that he's not involved financially. Trimac runs a fleet of LNG tractors on the Goodyear account out of Beaumont. He had a temp station setup at the Bingo in Winnie but it disappeared assume-ably the one at the T/A is now his.
I heard he split the sheets with Clean Energy also...... oh yeah, don't let anyone B.S. you either. The LNG comes off a pipeline and is loaded in Huntsville, Tx. for Clean Energy by Clean Energy. Been there.....needgeech Thanks this.
