It's a long story and I'll give you all the details later. I know this is a Bold w/Bronze balls request so let me give ya the quick run down. I neglected my CDL physical for over a year and thus lost the whole thing while I was caring for my Dad with Colon Cancer.
This part is unheard of: Monday (ya this coming monday), the head of the State of Indiana's CDL dept. is bringing a semi tractor-trailer up from Indianapolis, IN and I will meet with him and he will give me a skills test and then I am good to go, back in business. I have 2 job offers pending, 1 is local and will allow me to be home at night and keep an eye on my Mom.
If you could meet me at the Pilot at US 30 & 31 or anywhere remotely in the region all I need to do is practice backing up. I do not need to go out on any public roads. I am all good with the rest. I'll be at home practicing my pretrip. I'm at the library and unfortunately I do not have internet at home so today or tomorrow please call if you call help, thanks in advance.

keepntruckin Thanks this. -
I shift and drive just fine. Have six months over the road and have been hired by three Companies that req 2 yrs exp. That's how my road tests go. My CDL checks from most of the companies I have worked for have shown nothing. I went to the DMV and had to ask them 5 times are you sure you don't see anything wrong with my CDL.
I'd put my driving up against anyone. I'm a hell of a lot safer than a lot of the idiot tailgaters out there that consider themselves pros. I went to Roehl's School and drove a van. Pro Fleet an Elkhart Flatbed Co. requires 2 years experence. I took a road test and the tester said some pretty good stuff about my shifting and cornering. They hired me. Backing up a Flat bed makes your skills lazy. I got a local driving job and when they checked my CDL they called Indianapolis. The CDL dept realizes they have kind of screwed around with me and they're doing what they can to make it right.Last edited: Jan 29, 2012

Nice attitude, "I've got 2 years of experience and know more than most of you."
You'll learn.
If you're so good, you shouldn't need any practise....Bill104 and Leftlane101 Thank this.
