anyone have info on Fedex Custom Critical

I drive for custom critical. Haven't been doing it for long.teams r the way to go if two people r willing to work and comprimise. It will be like having a roommate. There is pros and cons working for fed ex. Fed ex will take the glory of a delivery well done but will not help a driver who's contractor won't pay his or hers driver. Basically fed ex has no responsibility for its drivers. I still don't know if this is worth doing or not. Ijust started. Fed ex deadheaded me over 100 miles now I am sitting with barely fuel to stay warm tonight. Before signing on to fed ex read the contract first. Contractors nor fed ex cares about the drivers.

FedEx Custom Critical is a good company only if your running team. You can gross around $180,000.00 a year in a straight truck if your on the road about 300 plus days a year or home every other weekend. When the company was called Roberts Express it was great. I was with them fourteen years before we moved our trucks to Panther Expedited Services. Been at Panther Expedite three and half years now and love it.

 

I've been interested in running FedEx CC since I started trucking, but I've heard a lot of good and a lot of bad about the division. I'd go in as a team.

Mayfield: What's the differences between Panther Expedited and FedEx CC? I'm currently out 3 weeks regionally with 3 days home.

Is running expedited better if you are o/o or company?

 

Theirs a guy around me on with Panther. His truck will be gone a while then home then gone two days then back. It's always different. Muost do alot of different stuff with that kind of work but he seems happy.

 

We are a team on with FedEx Custom Critical, been on for 2 years. We stay out 3-4 weeks and take 4-5 days off and head back out. We grossed 180,000 last year before fuel n etc. This year, we will be lucky to gross half that! There are weeks we don't clear $1000!!! We have done 4 loads in 2 weeks!!!! None of the 4 loads have been over 900 miles!! Been sitting for 2 1/2 days now and they said we can't move unless we move 594 miles for .90 com! So yeah if you want to be truck stop ornaments, sit for days on end and be treated worse than a dog, try FedEx Custom Critical! We are currently waiting for approval from Landstar. Anywhere has got to be better than here!
