i know what jj was trying to say. :)

i plan on overhauling after christmas. unless the motor blows up. i should be in good shape to go that long.

that'll give me a 11 months to figure out what i want to do as far as horse and mileage go. and from what i've seen of this year. january is a good time to be taking off anyways. besides the weather.

i'm gonna open the ecm. and see how it works out. cummins says 475 is all i can get out of a 450 motor. anything more involves replacing parts.

one step at a time. but eventually i'd like to get something equivalent of todays motors. if it's doable.

i've got the funds for a bad motor. so i don't think they'll be taking the weekly maint. fund from my settlements.

i'm only doing this for 2 reasons. #1. i've averaged close to 4000 miles per week. #2. compared to what everyone else is asking for the same truck. i feel like i'm getting a good deal. even if i have to rebuild the motor. i'm still coming out cheaper then buying a truck from someone else. PLUS, i've been driving this truck 4 months now.

i'd rather buy a truck i've been driving over buying something i know nothing about.

but it's a month to month deal. if i don't think it's going to work out. then i'm cancelling after the first month.

and i think a lot of reasons for the turnover. is the fact they can't hang with the miles and the small paychecks. them guys are actually doing there 34 at home DURING the week when everyone is open instead of ON the weekend when no one is open.

i'm the only driver that's home on the weekends. and making money.
that's probably why i can't seem to get fired. LOL.

KH kind of dropped out from posting cause some lawyer found him thru what he posted on here. Do see him on FB.

If ya'll use the peelot alot, you need to start checking and making sure, that your getting your points when fueling. Don't know what they were trying to do, but they've screwed things up royally!!! Bout half the stores I go to now say "oh, we can't get your points on the register anymore, you'll have to use the kiosk". The other half, can print it at the register....seperatly, but won't look at it close enough to see if the points were added.

Can't believe that I'm setting in VA, and I have my A/C on.

I check mine right after I fuel because i have to print the fuel reciept out after I fuel to turn in with my trips. If for some reason the kiosk is down I verify the points were added to the card before I leave the clerk and make them chang it before I leave the counter. I had to do that a couple of times and one clerk tried to give me the bs saying she couldn't do it so I asked for the manager and she re canted and put the points especially if im paying for the fuel. I did upgrade to the driver advantage card from the old pilot one so I can get the free stuff and specials.
